King Bentharas of Arthanum took his knights on an expedition to seek the Magician Gontheas, his only means to help his people survive the harsh upcoming winter, when they were attacked by the villainous Mage Rantheus, who cast a spell of Eternal Sleep upon the King. Only Nercelas, a young knight who wore a protective amulet, survived the attack. You are Nercelas, and you must find the Amulet of Eternal Sleep, broken into many pieces and scattered throughout a dark castle filled with dangerous traps and vicious enemies. Only you can release the King from sleep.
